Destroying Airborne Mold Spores

Mold Spores are being destroyed with NASA developed Airocide technology. Numerous wineries have introduced it into their environments with rewarding results. Viader Wineries say that with only a partial application of Airocide units in their facilities, the mold mitigation activities have been cut by 75%.

A Study conducted by Aerotech Laboratories in Phoenix, Arizona, found that the application of Airocide resulted in an average airborne mold reduction of 72.3% inside the 63-thousand cubic feet of caves in Hartwell Vineyards Winery.

Airocide is a patented photocatalytic process first used in the Space Station to eradicate organic molecules too small to be filtered. Further study determined Airocide was equally effective in the obliteration of mycotoxins, mold spores, pathogens and VOCs.
